In the hotel room
- Own blanket or bed with a familiar smell
- Sheet to put on the bed if the dog usually climbs up
- Cloths and a bottle of enzyme cleaner for accidents
- Do-not-disturb sign from day one
Health and safety
- Medication in original packaging
- Tweezers (for ticks)
- Phone number for a vet at the destination
- Photo of your dog (in case they go missing)
- Poo bags — at least twice as many as you think
